Hey you probably won't remember this, but about a month ago me and my brother came in and ordered some Abita... you proceeded to make fun of us for ordering a crappy beer like that. We said those were fighting words we had a good laugh and we got to talking. In that conversation you said you only wanted to book bands that played nothing but originals, didn't suck, and didn't play everywhere along the strip in the same weekend. My brother and I then told you we had such a band. Then my brother, who was a little buzzed, tried to play you some of our music off his phone. Then you put on the Hangover. Good night. Anyway... getting to the point. I think we could put together a really good show for you with some other local bands that would really pack your place. In fact let me rephrase that... I would love to put together a kickass show at your place of business with 3 local bands that would kill in a bar such as yours. All 3 are local bands who a.) don't play a lot of local shows, b.) can really bring in a lot of people, and c.) put on a amazing show. If you are interested please either write me back here or give me a call sometime. 407-620-6127 Tommy myspace.com/somethingtoyield

Hi, I'm Kathryn Sheppard with Big Production Group, LLC in Pensacola, Florida. Currently we are representing a local band with cover/original songs and are in the process of looking for more booking for them this year. Here is a link to their MySpace - www.myspace.com/myfavoriteaxe and a link to their youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rHhwgkM-8I . We would love to hear back from you and if you would be interested in booking them - or know any bars in the area that might be of better interest. Thanks, Kathryn Sheppard kathryn@bigproductiongroup.com www.bigproductiongroup.com

Hello, my name is Tammy and I talked to you earlier this year about a bartending job. At the time you didn't need anyone else but with the football season coming up I figured you might need some more help. I'm currently working at the crab trap just over the bridge but the tourist season is dying down and it's time for the business to move into town. I have experience in bartending and plenty of serving experience, so if you wanna know more I can be reached at the email above or 757-817-1815. Thanks! Tammy

Hey Bish! Because I love ya' I won't even charge you for my professional advice! Forget Salty Duck, you a lucky duck! First, I love the name. You can certainly build a strong brand with a funky cool name like Salty Duck. Love the logo too! So, this is what I would do -- I would have a LARGE photo box showing hot chicks using flash tech to rotate the photos. I would put the other images that are currently on your homepage, on a different page (maybe events?) and be careful what pics you post. Screen them carefully (get rid of the empty bar pic) and shoot for funny shots & hot chicks. Sex sells, some even sells cheap! :) In the homepage intro paragraph, you invite people to check out the events page, so hyperlink that text to the events page. What do you think about adding a drink special/events calendar to the events page? Whatever you decided, don't let the content lag in date. The last impression you want to give is the last fun event happened two months ago. That's all for now... If I have time I'll do more of an analysis. I know you are using Big Daddy.com, but consider buying this url and putting up your own so you can rid yourself of the banner at the top. Big Daddy knows what they are doing, and that's the MOST valuable space on your page. Oh, and when you get crackin', negotiate with your venders for services/merchandise in exchange for ad space on your site. When you get a little $, I know the BEST photographer. I mean the BEST. He can make poop look good. He's amazing and worth every penny. Okay-dokey... Send me your logo and your best three pics and I'll make you some sweet marketing shit. Posters... business cards (way easy) or postcards, coupons whatever.
